What is Meltabs®?
Meltabs is a thin square sheet, mint in flavor, containing pure Sildenafil Citrate that is placed under your tongue and dissolved. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It can help men who have erectile dysfunction get and sustain an erection when they are sexually excited. One does not get an erection just by taking this medicine. Meltabs helps a man with erectile dysfunction get an erection only when he is sexually excited.
How Does Meltabs Work?
Although both Sildenafil Citrate Meltabs and Viagra® contain the same active ingredient (Sildenafil Citrate), they are not the same. That's because Viagra® is a pill that you have to digest, and as with all pills, it's slowly absorbed into the stomach lining before entering the blood stream. Sildenafil Citrate Meltabs dissolve in your mouth, which allows them to enter your blood stream much faster.
Statistics show, that depending on your last meal, in can take between 60 to 90 minutes for a pill to dissolve and become active in the blood stream. Sildenafil Citrate Meltabs become active in the blood stream within 15 minutes. This is not only more enjoyable for you, but also better for your sexual partner. How much time does it takes to work?
It mostly depends on your metabolism and which type of pill of tab you use. Meltabs are faster acting. What Meltabs does not do?

Who Should Not Take Meltabs?
Ask your doctor if your heart is healthy enough for sexual activity. If you take any medicines that contain nitrates - either regularly or as needed - you should never take Veega. If you take Veega with any nitrate medicine or recreational drug containing nitrates, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to an unsafe level. You could get dizzy, faint, or even have a heart attack or stroke.
Nitrates are found in many prescription medicines that are used to treat angina (chest pain due to heart disease) such as: nitroglycerine (sprays, ointments, skin patches or pastes, and tablets that are swallowed or dissolved in the mouth) isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate (tablets that are swallowed, chewed, or dissolved in the mouth) Nitrates are also found in recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). If you are not sure if any of your medicines contain nitrates, or if you do not understand what nitrates are, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Meltabs is only for patients with erectile dysfunction. Veega is not for newborns, children, or women.
